About the lego car: as most of you undoubtedly guessed, the black addition on the righthand/starboard side of the vehicle/vessel is indeed a sidecar/wing with a pirate flag and plank (obscured).
Love all the pics! So Alexis are you too cool for the bandana around the head? The lego car is great! I am glad you all had a great time there in CO.
Was that with or without the directions? If without you should certainly have won some kind of prize. And the picture with John all bloody - great stuff...
anonymous: more like not cool enough for the head-worn bandana. had to start with the intermediate wrist-wrap. i'll work my way up eventually.
carolyn: that was pure tiger-pirate creativity right there. when we did the part where we had to follow the directions, it was a helicopter, and honestly it wasn't nearly as stylin' as the pirate-mobile.
it's a little frightening how natural and happy john looks with his bloody face.

Hey, how long are you in Seattle? I fly home on Wednesday (I think)... from Minnesota, where I've been all summer. We should hang out! I'll only be home for a few weeks.
